"Well the Skunk2 Cams were one of the best upgrade that we did to the car so far...
From Last time we dyno'd the only thing we change was the Magnus Intake Manifold and Skunk2 Cams...
Last time @ 32psi we dyno'd 719whp
this time @ 32psi we dyno'd 733whp
But at 5500rpm has almost 100whp more than before... I'm sure that @40psi it should do 850whp...
We haven't dyno'd the car @ that boost because we want to push the car in the track and not in the dyno... We still have a lot more room to play with, cams degrees and Boost
So CFT gives a to both Skunk2 Cams and Magnus Intake Manifold....

After hundred of combinations we (Central Florida Turbo) can say that the Skunk2 Pro series Camshaft Stage 1 for B-series Honda, is one of the best upgrades we've done to our NHRA Sport Compact Car Winner, SFWD class 1992 Honda Civic.
We tested these cams back to back with other brands (Civic Type R and Brian Crower) and the results were overwhelming... Turbo spool up was 600-800rpm sooner and at around 4800-5500rpm car made 80-100whp more...and going from 152mph in the quarter mile to 159mph.
This is one of the reasons we are going to continue using Skunk2 Products in our SFWD car and especially in the NHRA Hot Rod Class 2000 Honda Civic K-Series coming really soon to a track near you...

Hasport Time Attack K24 Powerd CRX
5 years ago I took a CRV K24 and put an RSX Type S head, then added a
Jackson Racing supercharger and stumbled onto the recipe for the best Honda
street motor I've ever driven. 300 hp and over 200 ft/lbs of torque starting
at just above 2500 rpm. It's like putting a built small block V8 in your
Honda. This potent combination has won Hasport numerous Time Attack championships.
When Skunk2 came out with the new cams for the Accord and CRV K24 engines we
threw them in our Time Attack CRX and headed to the dyno. I am thrilled with
the new combination. The Skunk cams bring this engine too life by finally
letting it breath. With stock cams the supercharged CRV engine would top out
at just under 260 hp at about 10 lbs of boost. Once the Skunk2 N/A Stage 2 cams were
installed horsepower jumped to over 300 and boost dropped to just over 8
lbs. Almost identical power of the Type S head swap and at a fraction of the
cost. Great job guys. |

TUNER SERIES CAMSHAFTS
| Skunk2 Tuner Series camshafts retain factory idle quality and low speed emissions and also significantly increase HP and TQ. When applicable, the VTEC crossover from primary to secondary is more dramatic for that classic VTEC surge. Many of the Skunk2 Tuner Series camshafts also feature Fast Ramp and Amax Technology which allow the engine to build more torque at lower rpms. Tuner Series camshaft profiles are less aggressive than our Pro-Series Camshafts and are designed to place more emphasis on idle quality and emissions.
